Becoming Leadership: What it Takes to Create Transformative Change

To Lead is to see, within a chronic problem, the seeds of fundamental transformation. To Lead is to push beyond the Known, on behalf of the Possible. To Lead is to change reality. On Saturday, April 22, 2017 from 1:00 PM to 4:30 PM, join Academic Director of The Graduate Institute’s Leadership program, Al Bhatt, for a discussion on what it takes to move from vision to action on initiatives that, by their nature, are impossible within the current reality. Joining Al will be John MacBeth, CEO of Mobileyes and a graduate of the Leadership program who, during his time at TGI, created a breakthrough that has transformed healthcare delivery for indigenous peoples in Canada and is about to shift the reality around support for opioid addicts in recovery.

“The Graduate Institute's Leadership program didn’t give me my sense of purpose and mission in the world, it gave me the tools and mindsets to manifest that purpose in ways that are bigger and more impactful than I could have ever imagined.” ~ John MacBeth

The group is led by Al Bhatt, an Educator, Ted-Talk presenter and Advisor who, over the past 25 years, has worked with senior executives from organizations such as Pfizer, Amex, and Facebook as well social impact entrepreneurs and change agents. He is the Academic Director of the Master of Arts in Leadership program at The Graduate Institute and is on faculty in the Graduate Psychology Department at UNH as well as The Chicago Theological Seminary, where he teaches courses on Transformational Leadership to ministry students.
