You may already know these speakers from previous TGI webinars. Here’s a brief introduction:

Dr. Brian Luke Seaward

Dr. Brian Luke Seaward is regarded as one of the foremost experts in the field of stress management and a pioneer in the fields of mind-body-spirit healing and corporate health promotion. He is also a visiting faculty member at The Graduate Institute. The wisdom of Brian Luke Seaward can be found quoted in PBS specials, The Chicago Tribune, The Huffington Post, college graduation speeches, medical seminars, boardroom meetings, church sermons, and keynote addresses all over the world. He has authored more than twelve books, including the classic best sellers, Stand Like Mountain, Flow Like Water, The Art of Calm and Stressed Is Desserts Spelled Backward and the leading college textbook, Managing Stress (9E). Dr. Seaward’s mission, as expressed through his legacy of acclaimed books, documentary films and public appearances, is to make this a better world in which to live by having each of us reach our highest potential.

Joan Palmer, MA

Joan Palmer, MA, is the Founder and Director of The Institute of Sustainable Nutrition and owner of Real Food Matters, LLC. Joan has a MS in Human Nutrition, a BS in Education and received her certification as a Family/Community Herbalist. Joan presents the Art and Science of Eating as part of The Graduate Institute’s accredited Master’s Degree program in Integrative Health & Healing.

Dr. Artemis Morris

Dr. Artemis Morris is the Academic Director for Integrative Health & Healing at The Graduate Institute, as well as a Professor of Nutrition and Educator of the traditional Mediterranean diet.   Dr. Morris is the medical director and founder of Artemis Wellness Center, an integrative medical practice in Milford, CT. Dr. Artemis has also served as the director of the holistic wellness center at Masonic Healthcare Center, the largest non-profit geriatric center in CT and was the founder and medical director of a multidisciplinary integrative center in New Haven, CT. She taught Traditional Chinese Medicine for a Masters Program at Stamford Hospital and at the Open Center in NY and has taught advanced nutrition at the University of Bridgeport’s Nutrition Institute.  She is the author of A Naturopathic Doctor’s Guide to Wellness For Immune Support: Using the Six Principles of Naturopathic Medicine To Protect and Promote Your Family’s Health and Well-Being.

Bruce Cryer, MA

Co-presenting this event will be The Graduate Institute’s President, Bruce Cryer, who is adjunct faculty at Stanford University, and author, mentor and leadership consultant. Bruce was a founding director of HeartMath, the acclaimed stress/performance institute where he also served as CEO for 11 years. He has taught programs on stress, performance, and creativity at Stanford since 1997, drawing on both his long business background and his years as a performance and visual artist in New York.
