Information for Educators seeking Professional Certification

The CT State Department of Education has approved all of The Graduate Institute’s Master of Arts degrees as acceptable for meeting the subject-specific requirements for the purpose of obtaining the professional educator certificate. State approval is for all Pre-K through 12 educators. Please also check your district's requirements.

The Master of Arts in Learning and Thinking - 36 Credits

A two-year program that examines health, wellness and illness from a holistic perspective. This approach involves comparing, connecting and integrating conventional, alternative and complementary approaches to promoting health and wellness as well as towards prevention and healing.

The same great program as the 36-credit Masters, but without 6 self-study credits. Perfect for a teacher who already has a masters but needs 30 graduate credits to obtain their masters plus 30.

Designed for teachers who already have their masters but need 30 graduate credits to obtain their masters plus 30.

A two-year program that explores the nature, role, and development of human consciousness and transpersonal inner work. What makes this program unique is that we have holistically integrated different perspectives into the coursework - psychological and spiritual, western and eastern, epistemological and clinical.
